January 4, 2018On January 4, 2018, the International Student Conferences (ISC) and Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA provided future leaders for U.S.-Japan-Korea cooperation with the opportunity to discuss their views on digital diplomacy and workplace challenges. The fifth Trilateral Symposium demonstrated the ability of the next generation to engage in much needed productive dialogue on U.S.-Japan-Korea relations, including ideas for improving trilateral cooperation.

J. LIVE Talk 2017
November 5, 2017College-level Japanese learners from across the United States competed to win scholarships, cash prizes and trips to Japan at the third annual J. LIVE Talk 2017, held on Sunday, November 5th at The George Washington University. J. LIVE (Japanese Learning Inspired Vision and Engagement) Talk 2017 contestants delivered presentations in Japanese to an audience of more than 130, using audio-visual materials, audience interactions, and other innovations to enhance their messages.

Inaugural Global Classmates Summit unites students from U.S., Japan for week of cultural exchange

Kizuna Across Cultures’ inaugural Global Classmates Summit brought twelve high school students from the United States and Japan to Washington, D.C. for a week of cross-cultural exchange, language practice, and professional development. The Summit took place from July 28 to August 5 and included meetings with U.S.-Japan experts such as Sasakawa USA CEO Ambassador James Zumwalt.
