The Japan U.S. Military Program (JUMP) and the Japan-America Society of Hawaii hosted a day of learning and engagement along with U.S. service members who have served in Japan, Japanese officers of the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force, and members of the community with an interest in U.S.-Japan defense and security issues.

Japan, U.S. professionals share renewable energy initiatives at conference

Looking to enhance energy security through bilateral cooperation, Sasakawa USA partnered with the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies on March 21 for “The U.S., Japan, and the Future of Renewable Energy,” a workshop that brought together 24 U.S. and Japanese government, corporate, non-profit and academic professionals.
