The first TAWA event, “The U.S.-Japan Partnership on Energy, Business, and the Challenges of China and North Korea,” took place in Houston, Texas.
Sasakawa USA Chairman Admiral Dennis Blair attended the signing of a memorandum for the United States Trade Representative authorizing an inquiry into actions by China, such as the theft of U.S. intellectual property, that may harm U.S. innovation. The signing took place at the White House on Monday, August 14, 2017.
