Futoshi Toba, the mayor of the hard-hit city of Rikuzentakata in Iwate Prefecture, wrote a letter of thanks to the U.S.-Japan Council and Sasakawa USA for hosting The United States and Japan: Reassessing 3-11 and continuing to support Japan as the country rebuilds.
