Selena Hasan joined Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA (Sasakawa USA) in August 2026 and serves as an administrative assistant.
Prior to joining Sasakawa USA, Selena worked as an intern for the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation and the U.S.-Japan Council (USJC).
Selena holds a master’s degree in Asian Studies with a concentration on Japan from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Japanese from Portland State University.
