Naritada Miura joined Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA in December 2021. He serves as an Associate Program Officer and provides support for the Policy Briefing Series, the Pacific Islands Maritime Domain Awareness Program, the U.S.-Japan Integrated Security Dialogue, U.S.-Japan Research Exchange, and the Congressional Study Group on Japan.
Prior to joining Sasakawa USA, Naritada interned at the Hudson Institute focusing on the U.S.-Japan security alliance, as well as Japan’s national and economic security strategies. He also interned at the Japan Information and Culture Center, the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C. While attending the University of Maryland, he was a Student Assistant at the Gordon W. Prange Collection and researched on the Constitution of Japan. Naritada graduated with a B.A. in Government and Politics with International Relations Concentration and a certificate in East Asian Studies. Naritada is a native Japanese speaker from Shimane prefecture.
