Naritada Miura joined Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA as a Program Assistant in December 2021. He provides support for the Policy Briefing Series, the Pacific Islands Maritime Domain Awareness Program, and the U.S.-Japan Economic Security Dialogue.
Prior to joining Sasakawa USA, Naritada interned at the Hudson Institute focusing on the U.S.-Japan security alliance, Japan’s national and economic security strategies. He also interned at the Japan Information and Culture Center, Embassy of Japan in Washington D.C. While attending University of Maryland, he was a Student Assistant at the Gordon W. Prange Collection and researched on the Constitution of Japan. Naritada graduated with a B.A. in Government and Politics with International Relations Concentration and a certificate in East Asian Studies. Naritada is a native Japanese speaker from Shimane prefecture.
