Throughout Mr. Toshiya Matsuki’s long tenure at NEC Corporation, a major Japanese multinational information technology and electronics company, he has held numerous senior leadership positions across Japan, Singapore, Europe, the Americas, and the broader EMEA region. In his current role as senior advisor, Mr. Matsuki continues to advance international collaboration at the intersection of business, technology, and policy.
From 2022 to 2025, he served as the president of the Institute for International Socio-Economic Studies, an independent think tank of the NEC Group. He has also served as executive vice president, chief commercial officer, president of NEC’s Global Business Unit, and chief executive officer of NEC Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. Additionally, he has contributed to regional economic dialogue as an alternate member of the APEC Business Advisory Council for Japan and as chair of the Sub-Committee on Policy Planning for the Committee of South Asia at Keidanren, Japan Business Federation.
Mr. Matsuki holds a bachelor’s in Economics from Keio University (B.A. 1983).
