Brian Graf joined Sasakawa USA in 2015 as Program Assistant, and now also serves as Program Officer for the Japan-US Military Program (JUMP), which Sasakawa USA administers. His affinity for Japan and Japanese culture is the product of a love for travel and learning languages after working and studying abroad for nearly six years in Japan and Europe.
In 2014, Graf was the Logistics Assistant for the 19th International Humanitarian Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. Graf worked as a language instructor and Assistant Trainer for ECC language institute in the Kansai region of Japan for close to five years before leaving to earn a global master’s degree in International Relations from Webster University. While achieving this degree he spent time studying in England, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, and Thailand.
Graf also minored in Japanese and completed a yearlong study abroad program at Kansai University in Osaka, Japan while working towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Webster University.
