Sasakawa USA Fellow Daniel Bob comments on Obama’s Hiroshima visit

Sasakawa USA’s Senior Fellow and Director of Programs Daniel Bob appeared on Al Jazeera’s The Stream on May 26 as one of several guests to speak on President Obama’s visit to Hiroshima. The conversation ranged from issues of nuclear disarmament to opinions on whether Obama should apologize for using the world’s first nuclear bombs. “U.S.-Japan relations at this point are arguably better than they have been at any point since the second world war,” Bob said during the program “…Because of some of the threats that are posed by China in the South China Sea, the East China Sea, it has really cemented the U.S.-Japan relationship, and this visit is one more step in the road to even closer relations.”
