Two Sasakawa USA experts came together recently to discuss the future of the U.S.-Japan relationship in a conversation now featured on the PHP Institute’s website. The Japanese-language feature is structured as a Q&A-style discussion between interviewer Hiroko Maeda , a Non-Resident Fellow at Sasakawa USA and a Research Fellow at the PHP Institute, and interviewee Admiral Dennis C. Blair, CEO and Chairman at Sasakawa USA.
The discussion, titled “What U.S.-Japan should do and shouldn’t do” (日米がすべきこと、すべきでないこと) covers topics including the U.S.-Japan stance toward China, how to build a bilateral crisis management system, and the U.S. presidential election’s potential impact on Asia policy.
