Daniel Bob moderates panel on U.S.-Japan security cooperation

May 18, 2017

On May 12, Sasakawa USA’s Director of Programs and Senior Fellow Daniel Bob moderated a panel for the 50th Anniversary International Affairs Fellowship Conference in New York City, hosted by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). The topic of the panel was Emerging Challenges in U.S.-Japan Security Cooperation. Christine Parthemore, CEO and Founder of CLP Global LLC, and Daryl G. Press, Associate Professor of Government at Dartmouth College, shared their insights on this off-the-record panel.

The International Affairs Fellowship is CFR’s hallmark fellowship program, and 2017 is the program’s 50th anniversary. The fellowship offers mid-career professionals the chance to work in new field in international relations or policy, whether that be government, academia, or the private sector. Prior to joining Sasakawa USA, Daniel Bob participated in this fellowship as an International Affairs Fellow in Japan.
