Dr. Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Joins Sasakawa USA Advisory Committee on Projects

Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA (Sasakawa USA) is pleased to announce that Dr. Joseph S. Nye, Jr. has joined the Sasakawa USA Advisory Committee on Projects.

The Sasakawa USA Advisory Committee on Projects consists of four distinguished leaders in global affairs: Ambassador Melanne Verveer, Executive Director of the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security, and the first Ambassador for Global Women’s Issues; Secretary Randall Schriver, Chairman of the Project 2049 Institute, and former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs; Ambassador Kurt Tong, Partner at The Asia Group, former Consul General of the U.S. to Hong Kong and Macau, and former U.S. Ambassador for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC); and Dr. Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Through the experience and expertise of this committee, Sasakawa USA will continue to play a critical role strengthening the U.S.-Japan relationship by enriching policy discussions, research, publications, and networks.
