On February 15, 2013, Sasakawa Peace Foundation and the Peterson Institute for International Economics co-hosted a discussion on the economic policies of Japan’s new Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, known as”Abenomics.” The speakers outlined the principles and assessed the strategy’s likely impact on economic growth, exchange rates, the country’s trade policies, and structural reform.
